January Market Update

I would have posted sooner but this winter real estate market is curiously busy and it’s been go go go. That may surprise you if you listen to the national media but of course they seem to report entirely on Toronto and Vancouver so it’s not a shock they have been negative. Calgary’s market is always unique and the signs are mostly positive for a strong and busy year in housing. So far we are up in every category for 2013 with one exception. Total listings are down more than 25% which points to a possible seller’s market for spring.
