When I planned on moving to Calgary from Fort McMurray I had no idea where to start. I didn't know people here in Calgary, let alone a realtor that I could rely on seeing as a lot of what I was going to be doing would be via phone and e-mail and had to completely rely on someone's help. I decided to just do a simple google search and Kelly Kernick was one of the first pictures to come up, so I emailed him. From that first reply to my e-mail (which was less than a hour) he was nothing but helpful. When I came into the city he committed days with me even though he knew it would not be a deal that would happen right away. He kept in constant contact with me, would not let me settle until I was happy, gave me tips on selling my house up North (even though this was a deal he had nothing to do with) and even helped a friend of mine find her home. When I found the house I wanted he was right there in my corner helping me with negotiations and deadlines while I was unable to be here. He dealt with the banks up North, helped me find a lawyer here in the city of Calgary. The only thing I had to do was show up and provide a signature. Moving is hard enough, moving from city to city could have been even more difficult but he made the entire process simple and smooth. House hunting can be hard and even a little discouraging but with Kelly it is a good time, a laugh and you make a friend. Again Kelly Thank-you!

March 25, 2013First Time Condo Buyers
My husband and I were looking to purchase our first home, and Kelly came highly recommended. Kelly went above and beyond for us and was extremely helpful. He answered all of our questions (which was a lot), and he never made us feel foolish for asking! He walked us through the process of purchasing our first home and helped us make the right decisions. Kelly made our first time condo purchase a fun and exciting experience and I would recommend him again to anyone!

My wife and I had just arrived from out of province and were looking for a little place for us and our two kids and dog. Kelly helped us find a place that was just great four our needs . Furthermore he was patient with all our questions and comments as we were used to dealing with a different system in our old province . He watched out for us as he was OUR representative when dealing with the buyer and provided us with all the document information we needed as well as recommending legal and inspections services. I would refer Kelly as a Realtor to anyone who asked based on my past experiences. He helped me shop around and find a condo for my mom to buy in Calgary, when she planned to move down from Edmonton. He new what my mom wanted, and found it. I felt in good hands, he made the process simple for mom and I. I appreciated his professionalism. Recently, I decided to sell my townhouse and buy a house, Kelly again was a great to work with from beginning to end. I was in good hands. Through the whole process, he was supportive, helpful, and flexible around my schedule when house hunting. Moving is a stressful time, Kelly has a great sense of humor, which was appreciated. He was always helpful, and made the whole process that much easier for me.
